The house Klobučar - Rački (XVII. st.) - Delnice
The Rački house is a state protected cultural monument, but it also an example of ethnic highland construction heritage and can be visited. As it appears today, it provides mostly knowledge about home organization and ancient architectural heritage of Delnice. A long spacious hallway (non-existent today) connected all the rooms inside the house: veža (kitchen), hiža or hiša (parlor) and štala (barn). This house, and others like it, is estimated to be over 200-300 years old. A great effort has been put in preserving its authenticity.
