Monastery and St. Jovan Preteča Church - Gomirje
The most western monastery of the Eastern Orthodox Church inside which there is also the Roždenija church of St. Jovan Preteča. The monastery was founded in 1600 and the church construction began in 1719. Since its founding, the monastery has been a renowned spiritual center, and today it is the headquarters of the Gomirje parish and the junction of the Eastern Orthodox congregation.
