Forest park Golubinjak - Lokve
Forest park "Golubinjak", with a surface of 50 ha, is a protected area featuring monolithic rocks and stone, situated 1 kilometer from the Lokve town center. The great meadow at Golubinjak entrance is enclosed by thick pine forest, and visitors are invited to examine the tallest fir-tree in Gorski kotar, known as the "forest queen" - it is 37 meters tall, and 140 cm wide in diameter. Sculptures by artists of the Lokve Arts Colony are displayed in the park. "Golubinjak" also features two caves: Ledena cave and Golubinja cave.
